Extended Warranty
ALEXA extended warranties are designed to reduce the fixed costs of ownership after the camera's first year of warranty has expired. Each
extended warranty covers one ALEXA camera for one year for all parts and labor required due to defects in materials or workmanship that
prevent the camera, any installed options and the viewfinder from operating within factory specifications. Once the extended warranty is
active, there is never any time lost waiting for purchase orders or payments that would otherwise be needed for out of warranty repairs.
Additionally, cameras covered under warranty (original or extended ) go into a priority repair queue and so downtime is reduced to the
absolute minimum.

Service and Testing
The following items are, amongst other spare parts, available from ARRI service:
- Spare Fan Module SFM-1 (K4.72117.0) for ALEXA, ALEXA Plus, ALEXA Plus 4:3, ALEXA M body or ALEXA Studio.
- Spare Fan Module SFM-2 (K4.72610.0) for ALEXA XT, ALEXA XT M, ALEXA XT Plus, ALEXA XT Studio or any classic ALEXA that has been
upgraded with the XT Fan upgrade.
- ALEXA Plus BNC Upgrade Kit (K3.72248.0) for exchanging the BNC connectors on an ALEXA for those of an ALEXA Plus.
- ALEXA Plus EVF-1 Eyepiece (K4.72268.0) for replacing the original ALEXA eyepiece with one that has a much higher diopter adjustment
friction.
K2.70012.0 ARRI Dynamic Range Test Chart DRTC-1 2.350 €
A special test chart and analysis software for measurement of dynamic range and sensitivity
of digital cameras. Through a unique stray light reduction concept this system is able to
accurately measure up to 15.5 stops of dynamic range. Includes test chart, analysis software
“ARRI Aquamat Universal DRTC”, digital certificate of transparencies and instructions.
Software is capable of analyzing JPG, DPX, CIN, TIFF and BMP image files. Integrating sphere,
precision spot photometer, PC and Microsoft Windows operating system required but not
included.
